The lagoon of Limni Vouliagmeni is 16km from Loutraki. It was called Eschatiotis or Gorgopis, from the daughter of Megareus, Gorge, who drowned in the lake. It communicates with the Corinthian bay through a narrow channel 6m wide. It is an organized beach with powder-soft white sand, crystal warm waters which deepen smoothly. It is surrounded by a pine forest and Mount Geraneia. The beach hosts also diving competitions.
