Psili Island

COUNTY: Argolis MUNICIPALITY: Nafplio

Psili is an uninhabited island of the Argolic gulf south of Iria beach not to be confused with Ypsili in Aigina which belongs to the Diaporioi islands. This rocky island owes its name to its height (psilos in Greek) reaching the 234m. In fact, it is the island with the tallest peak in the Argolic gulf. During the Antiquity it was called Efyra.
