Agios Nikolaos is a beautiful fishing village in Mani 3km from Stoupa. The village with its wonderful stone houses, which respect the traditional architecture of Mani, is also called Selinitsa, literally, little moon or little Helen according to a Greek traditional song. In the village there is a charming little port and a beautiful small beach with fine sand. Next to the beach flows the Pamissos river and across you can see the islet of Pefnos, the birth place of Dioskouri. In the village there is Gnospis creek with its alluring bottom. In this wild and imposing landscape, a small church stands out, while bathers lay in the sleek rocks that encircle the creek.
